Shawano County Financing
Shawano County proactively promotes economic development through its support of Shawano County Economic Progress, Inc., (SCEPI). SCEPI markets the area, acts as a resource for county businesses and communities, and provides technical assistance to businesses and communities. The City of Shawano, Shawano County and the Villages of Tigerton and Wittenberg have Revolving Loan Funds. Several communities, including Wittenberg, Bonduel, Birnamwood, Gresham and Tigerton, have additional development groups. The University of Wisconsin-Extension office is a resource for community planning.
